Both our clementines and oranges have been grown in county orange groves, Biosphere Reserve and IGP Ebro Lands Clementines.

Our partners’ groves occupy large growing surfaces, that’s why we do achieve the product control and traceability from the grove to final commercialization. Our fruits get processed carefully so as to guarantee the best possible conditions when it gets to customers
We are working the whole year round, which allows us to offer different varieties of clementines, mandarins, tangerines and oranges.
The partners of the agrarian Society (SAT) grow citrus with sensitive handling, always respecting the right time for maturity before consumption. Our partners have been producing citrus for several generations, thus they feel compromised with both quality and excellence which, through personal effort, may give our costumers the best possible outcome.

COVID-19

The current worldwide COVID-19 pandemic is having a harmful effect as for both personal and labour relationships, but it has also highly conditioned business work. This virus will remain here until an effective vaccine is available. Unfortunately, its spread can lead to many businesses being closed down.

The outstanding food sector had to adapt properly to the pandemic and, at the same time, protect itself from the virus. Facilities, premises and prevention equipment have been modified. Businesses had to make an additional great effort to go own their commercial activities. Temperature controls, masks, protective equipment, area delimitation have all been useful necessary measures to keep the virus at bay.

PROCESSING WAREHOUSE

The Cítrics Terres de l’Ebre processing warehouse is located in Campredó (Tarragona) by the Ebro river, surrounded by our partners’ groves. Our premises are 25.000 m², whereas the 6000 square metre (m²) warehouse makes use of the most modern machinery.
It is used for handling and packaging citrus for commercializing both our partners’ citrus and the ones we can purchase from other farmers.
Our implemented Technological System, is based on the cost reduction of harvesting, packaging and reducing CO₂ emissions. Therefore, we manage our production in a way that allows us to shorten the process from the tree to the consumers. We make use of the latest packaging machinery so as to offer a wide range of possibilities: nets, girsac, clip to clip, cardboard boxes, wooden boxes, plastic recyclable boxes, which are required by costumers.
